As we turn the page to a new chapter, the Qianjiang Cardiovascular Conference (QICC) proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. As a premier academic pillar of the conference, the Basic and Translational Science Symposium (QICC-BTS 2026) will take place in Hangzhou from June 5 to 7, 2026. We cordially invite colleagues from across China and the globe to gather on the banks of the Qiantang River to share frontier advances and shape the future of our field together.

Since its inception as an independent symposium, QICC-BTS has been steadfastly committed to foundational research and clinical translation. By forging a seamless pathway from bench to bedside, the symposium strives to accelerate the transformative application of original discoveries, thereby driving the high-quality development of cardiovascular medicine. Over the past three years, we have witnessed audacious efforts to transition gene editing from theory to clinical reality, celebrated groundbreaking advances in AI-driven diagnostic imaging, and been deeply inspired by the tireless dedication of interdisciplinary teams tackling the most complex clinical challenges.

Standing at a new vantage point in 2026, we will continue to champion our core principles of quality, innovation, collaboration, and cultivation. In partnership with leading international journals, we will convene distinguished experts, emerging investigators, and industry innovators from around the world to foster a truly global academic dialogue. The symposium will highlight pivotal frontiers, including neuro-immune regulation, metabolic reprogramming and heart failure therapeutics, gene editing and RNA-based therapies, multi-omics and artificial intelligence, precision and translational medicine, as well as biomedical engineering and device innovation. The robust scientific program will feature keynote lectures, thematic symposia, and dedicated young investigator forums.
